What our volunteers are saying

This was a great first experience. It was heart warming to see so many people get together to help the community. From the individual interactions to the overall scope of the event, there are many lessons to take away. Thank you for having us and it was a pleasure and an honor to serve with the organization.
This was my second time serving with CityFam and I ran into several people I met the first time. Knowing a few people really helped in feeling part of a larger group. Such a great group of people coming together for a greater cause.
I joined this group to meet new people and everyone is great, from the top down! I look forward to more events... the more I do with the group, the more I want to do :)

If your organization would like to propose a project for us to include as an opportunity, please email us at The minimum requirements for inclusion as a CityFam Project initiative are as follows:

  • high-impact for the organization or the people the organization serves

  • requires the involvement of a minimum of 50 people

  • can be completed on a Saturday

  • no landscaping or cleanup projects, unless you are an environmental organization with a specific project that can be seen to completion in one three hour day

  • must add capacity and allow your organization to do something you can't already do or allow you to do it significantly better
